Apparently Home Depot was out of the wardrobe boxes with metal rods that'll hold clothing on the hanger. Those save so much time in packing clothes.

Ok! I'm on my way to help pack hehe For cloths, take the cloths with the hangers and put them in garbage bags. Then you can take them out and put them directly in closets. Also, a lot of places (dollorama,..) give boxes and you wouldn't have to buy boxes It's fun to watch you pack and bittersweet too!

I cannot believe the NS house got a random offer after being on the market last summer, and after y’all putting an offer after so long. Like, what are the odds!? We bought our first house in October and it was such a stressful freaky thing. Why would that Nova Scotia seller do that?? 😳 I would never do that to someone, especially knowing my potential buyer is going to operate a dog rescue. I dunno, I just have ethics, morals and values. I’d never do that, just for extra money in my pocket.

I don’t know if this will help you out or not but if you go to some stores and ask if they have any cardboard boxes they are getting rid of, they’ll just give you them for free. Might save you some money on buying boxes xx

I hate moving - I've done it so many times over the years. Was married to military guys and changed duty stations and across states several times. The military did not assist in any of the moves, it was all on us. I got pretty good at packing and unpacking. The biggest thing is make sure as much "like" items are together and label the crap out of the boxes. I never paid for any moving materials. Free boxes from the liquor stores, they get shipments weekly, some twice weekly. Used newspaper to wrap breakables. The last 2 times was - Florida to Savannah, than 5 years later, back to Florida, Done, I'm done, no more!

I think almost every influencer changes to film then changes right back into comfy clothes. I’ve heard too many state this in their long form UA-cam content 🤣 but no hate as I do the same with changing after working my 9-5.

I totally get how you feel about wanting to move with nothing. I recently moved interstate where I decluttered my stuff MAJORLY and there’s still stuff that I have barely used since unpacking. Nothing makes you realise how much you don’t need like moving and the declutter defs happens before and after ❤
